Meera Vasudevan Opens Up About Her Diet Secrets

Meera Vasudevan has recently got back into shape after giving birth to her son, Ariha, in 2004. In an exclusive interview with, she reveals that she has got down to a healthy weight of 64 kilos from 97 Kg. According to Meera, a balanced diet helps her maintain a healthy weight.

“I am the kind of person who needs to eat. If I don’t eat, I can’t think. I eat 8 to 12 times a day. The body needs the energy to work out,” shares Meera. The quantity of food is moderated in a way to balance all kind of nutrition. It includes vegetables, cereals, and salads.

Meera is basically a vegetarian, but she includes eggs in her diet as they are rich sources of protein.

She also feels that only if you have right amount of food then you can work out better. “The body needs the energy to sweat it out and you have to eat right for it,” she opines.

Meera also recommends having a nutritionist in order to sort it out better. With the help of a nutritionist, you can decide the diet based on your work out pattern and body weight.

If you work out without having a proper diet, it ends up with losing good fat and your skin starts sagging. It makes you look older than you are which is contrary to what actual workouts do to your body.

Proper workout routine helps you look younger than what actually you are. Combine it with good food and your skin starts glow despite your age.

“Having a nutritionist helps you maintain a well-balanced diet. At the same time, a good coach can sort out the muscle groups and arrange your work-out pattern accordingly,” says Meera.

It is the proper way to do the fitness training under an expert coach combined with the instruction of a nutritionist. It gives the desired result and makes you look and feel better.
